Ahilya By The Sea Hotel - Nerul (Goa)

We loved the two beautiful pools and relaxing nooks with deck chairs all around. The library was well-stocked with books and board games, made our downtime really enjoyable. The staff provided excellent service and even tailored itineraries for our explorations. Highly recommend it for a peaceful escape.

It was comfortable base for traveling to Nerul, I was glad to stay there. Enjoyed absolutely gorgeous and clean room with much style, wouldn't mind staying there all day. The staff were courteous and very good and the wake up calls and ironing were free of charge...

I thoroughly enjoyed the double room with the Portuguese style, a real charm and the most beautiful view. The location was unbeatable, close enough to a beautiful cafe, and the gardens. The staff has always been attentive, and the facilities were modern.

Fine views and vibrant spaces for relaxation.

I found the service could be improved. Upon arrival, my room's safe was malfunctioning, and it took a while for maintenance to address it. There were days without a coffee maker in the room. The location also required taxis for basic outings, which can be frustrating for those wanting to explore nearby attractions more freely.

Location so close to Mumbai airport and the market. Exceptional and luxurious room with climate control, a personal safe, and a seating area. Free parking on-site provided.

The hotel was WONDERFUL, it had a fantastic location not far from that platform and massages with that view, the beach and western horizon, and the Reis Magos Fort.

Ahilya By The Sea offers fine ocean views and beautifully decorated rooms. Getting around Goa can be challenging without taxis.

The culinary scene at Ahilya By The Sea is a feast! The local fish dishes are to die for, especially when prepared with fresh spices. I adored lounging by the infinity pool, feeling like I was part of the ocean. Plus, the architecture is fine, merging with the beautiful beach vibe.

My only cheeky gripe? The massage was a bit lackluster, and there was this one rude guest who really tested patience across the hall.

Ahilya By The Sea is a gem! The fine ocean views and unique villa were pure bliss. I loved lounging by the infinity pool, feeling like I was part of the sea. Just a heads up, getting around Goa needed taxis since it’s a bit isolated.

The eclectic design of the hotel, combining Balinese architecture with beautiful art collections, really made my stay unique.

The beach nearby was quite dirty, which took away from the overall beach experience.

Ahilya By The Sea reminded me of a tranquil escape. The fine views of the sea and the warm hospitality from the staff transformed my stay into a rejuvenating retreat. I particularly enjoyed the good yoga sessions overlooking the ocean, and the emphasis on personalized dining made each meal special.

The food was fantastic, but it was hard to get around.

Couples paradise for relaxation

The villa had a fantastic reading nook and a balcony facing the sea, I could just spend days holed up there enjoying the view. And don't get me started on the food, that prawn thali was some of the best I ever had, had a crab pre-ordered for dinner which was just excellent.

It wasn't inexpensive, but still worth every penny.

I was quite disappointed with my stay. The a/c was rather impossible to control, and somehow, my stay didn't come with a complimentary upgrade, which would have made it somewhat tolerable. The massage was average at best, ironic considering how luxurious this place claims to be. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.
